Transcend with Traditional Yoga & Meditation

Yoga

The word 'Yoga' or 'Yuj' translates to Union.

Yoga regards the body as a vehicle for the soul on its journey to liberation. Yogic exercises are not only designed for the betterment of the body but also to enhance the mental faculties and spiritual capacities.  The physical exercises are called 'Asanas' - holding the body in steady poses and controlling the breath helps to create the inner balance and harmony.

Ashtanga Yoga

In Sanskrit , 'Ashtanga' is combination of 'Ashta' (eight) + 'Anga' (limbs) path of yoga.

This eight-fold path of yoga is heart of the practices prescribed by Patanjali (father of Yoga). The practice of this eight step blueprint helps with controlling the mind's restlessness and enjoying inner bliss.

Performing the poses (asana) in combination with breathwork (pranayam) and meditation are the major focus points which help in enhancing the overall physical and emotional wellbeing.
